We may be seeing a similar issue again as before, but we believe it will only be temporary. Network engineers are looking into this currently, apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Update
The previous issue was resolved shortly after the previous update, but we've been checking to make sure everything is working as expected and no occurrence of this again. Maintenance work is still ongoing but we don't anticipate any further disruption.

We are seeing some issues with websites timing out, we have determined this is related to the work being carried out currently and our senior network engineers are working to resolve the issue. We will of course update here with more information and progress.

On Tuesday 9th January we will be performing some major works within our Leeds Data Centre, where Heart Internet products and services are located. The specific area undergoing work houses a very small number of our dedicated servers.
The work will commence from 8pm, with invasive changes being made as late as possible, not expected before 10pm. The work will continue throughout the night and be fully completed by Wednesday morning at 6am.
Works involve adding further redundancy and routing capacity to the data centre, strengthening and growing our infrastructure for you as our customers. The potential impact is for only short periods of time and is limited strictly to a small part of our dedicated server platform.
All being well there will actually be no customer facing impact during this time. We are adding this status as a precaution for full openness with our customers. This message will be updated when works have completed.
